Welcome at the Research Station for the Cultivation of Vegetables npo

Located in the center of the largest production area for vegetables in Flanders, Belgium, the Research Station for Vegetable Production (RSVP) has provided answers to Flemish Horticulture's practical questions since 1963.

RSVP, a non-profit organization, has focused on and built extensive expertise in applied and practical glasshouse and field-grown vegetable crops research. This expertise is affirmed by the Flemish Government in the 'Decision Concerning the Allowance of Research Centers in Advising and Development of Agriculture and Horticulture (14/05/2004)'.

RSVP's current research activities include: crop variety trials; studies on responsible uses of fertilizer, pesticides and water; development of effective and efficient climate control strategies; and identification and evaluation of sustainable cultivation practices.
